RICOH (formerly Fujitsu) reported an issue with Fujitsu Fi-series scanners on computers running Windows version 24H2 that affects functionality
This issue has been reported on by RICOH (formerly Fujitsu) and Microsoft is also aware of the issue.

Highlights:
- When operating the fi and SP Series via USB connection on a PC running Windows 11, version 24H2, the device may not be recognized properly.
- This issue does not occur when the fi and SP Series scanner is used with a network connection.
- In the scanner selection screen of your capturing software, the connection name of the scanner is “WIA No Friendly Name” and the scanner name is not displayed correctly.
How to tell what version of Windows your computer is running:
- Go to Windows Settings by entering “Settings” into the Windows search bar
- Select “System” from the settings options
- Scroll all the way down to the “About” section and click through
- Look for the tab titled “Windows Specifications” and check the Version (pictured below).
